  1. Mail Manager +Plus+ v4.00a beta

  4. This is a beta, and has been tested for all of 10 minutes.  Any resemblance
  5. to an actual release archive is purely coincedental.  You were warned.
  6.  
  7. Required:  An existing installation of Mail Manager +Plus+ v4.00.
  8.  
  9. Update process:  
  10.  
  11.          - Copy your existing MMGR.EXE to 400.EXE.
  12.          - Copy 400A.EXE to MMGR.EXE in your door directory.
  13.          - Put MMGR.TIM in your path to text files, as-listed in MAILCFG.
  14.          - Edit MMGR.TIM appropriately.

  16. To go back to the v4.00 release, just copy 400.EXE back to MMGR.EXE, and
  17. all should be as it was.  That's it.

  21. The only difference from v4.00 is that very MMGR.TIM file.  v4.00a allows
  22. you to configure three timeout values via MMGR.TIM.  If MMGR.TIM doesn't
  23. exist, it will run just about exactly like v4.00.

  25. MMGR.TIM is pretty self-explanitory (and well-commented).  The three values
  26. it allows you to set are:
  27.  
  28.      The number of seconds before auto-logoff after E)xpedite when in
  29.      novice (default = 10 secs), and expert (default = 4 secs) modes.
  30.      These two can be set anywhere from 0 to 32767.
  31.  
  32.      The number of seconds the door waits before a keyboard inactivity
  33.      logoff.  Defaults is 180, can be set anywhere from 90 to 360.
  34.      If a number less than 90 is used for the keyboard idle timeout, all
  35.      three of the MMGR.TIM options are reset to the defaults.
